Here are REASONS WHY WATCHING FOOTBALL AT HOME BEATS WATCHING FOOTBALL AT A MAMAK SHOP.


1. No form of pollution.
At home, smokers take it outside. At the mamak shop, they pollute the air, and make the non-smokers die of lung cancer in the near future.

2. No "loudspeakers".
Even if people at home and they intend to make a call, they DON'T talk so loud [unless the person on the line is deaf]. People at the mamak shop talk SO loudly because no one can tell them off.

3. You don't have to waste money on drinks.
You can make your own drinks, which don't cost you much. At the mamak shop, you have to buy a drink so that it isn't that obvious that you're only going there to watch the match.

4. You don't have to worry about shouting.
At home, you can shout until the cows come home. At the mamak shop, it's not fun to shout with strangers. Especially with my mum around.

5. You don't have to worry about what you wear.
You can stay at home in your undergarments [or if you prefer, nothing], but when you go to the mamak shop, you have to be DECENTLY DRESSED.

6. You don't have worry about being the butt of all jokes at the mamak shop.
True. Half of the population that go to these mamak shops, are fans of other clubs BUT Chelsea. Watching the showdown the other day was no fun, because when Joe Cole scored that amazing goal, I shouted in excitement, while those Manchester United fans kept looking at me as though I went bonkers!

7. You don't have to worry about annoying pests.
That includes rats, cockroaches, flies and mosquitoes. Idiot of a mosquito bit my hand the other day!
